I'm a huge fan of dry shampoo. It makes life a little bit easier when you don't have time to wash/dry/style your hair. Normally I buy Batiste Dry Shampoo, I've been using it for years and like it a lot. While I was doing my weekly food shop I noticed Herbal Essences had come out with a dry shampoo range of their own. I decided to get one to see how well it worked/ if it was any good!
I picked up the Herbal Essences Dry Shampoo Uplifting Volume. When my hair needs washing it tends to go completely flat and look really dull, so I thought the 'uplifting volume' would be good to help me style it between washes. I'm pleased to report that it definitely does the trick!
It gives my hair a 'one day dirty' look with lots of volume and texture. It's easy to style your hair with and hold your hair style very well. It could almost pass as a non sticky hair spray!
The scent is just as refreshing as the results with a kind of 'citrus' smell to it. Personally, I like this as it is a very 'clean' smell and doesn't smell like chemicals or aerosol like you can sometimes get with cheaper sprays.
It is also very reasonably priced! It retails around £2.99, most of the time when I have seen it on the shelves it is on offer. Currently in Superdrug it is only £1.47! I will leave a link to it below!
I'll see you tomorrow for Blogmas #17!
